1. LLC Company Documents

You should have a company formed in the US. You will be receiving one of the following document. type of document varies state to state depending on your company type;

  • Certificate of Formation
  • Articles of Organization
  • Certificate of Incorporation

2. Identification

Non-US residents can use their Passport. You will need to provide a US Number and your Home Address. This address can be your address which is outside the United States.

3. EIN Approval

Mercury accepts one of following document for your EIN Approval;

  • Form SS-4 which has your EIN approved/provided by IRS
  • EIN Confirmation Letter (CP 575)
  • EIN Verification Letter (C147)

4.  US Address

Mercury mail your debit card to your US address.

Your US address can be your office address or your registered agent office. It is better you have an address service if you have not a mail receiving US address.

5. Details of your company

You need to describe your company very well. We recommend you to have a satisfactory website which represents your business. Do not forget to add your US address to your website. You should well describe your services or products in both mercury application field and on your website.  Please be patient because A bank provides an online application and need to know about you as much as possible. Submit your Mercury Application

Once you start the application, Mercury will send you the e-mail verification link. You should verify your e-mail. After you submitted your application, you will reach the following pages succesively;

  • Two-factor security authentication page which Mercury asks you to download an app to use for 2-factor login.
  • Team members page: You can add additional members to your account.
  • Debit Card Shipping Address: You can use your default business address or you can change it to different US address.

Estimated Time of your Mercury Account Approval

You should keep an eye on your e-mail address. Mercury may ask additional information regarding your application and your business. Good Communication may shorten your account approval. So, Approval may take 1-2 weeks.
